Emotional Intelligence at Work Topic of December Breakfast

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., November 7, 2017 – Kim Kenney-Rockwal, an executive coach and Elms College MBA Program Director will speak on Emotional Intelligence at Work at the Springfield Regional Chamber’s December 6 Business@Breakfast. The breakfast will take place at the Log Cabin, 500 Easthampton Road, Holyoke from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Many people know their IQ, but not their EQ – Rockwal will talk about why Emotional Intelligence is a sought-after skill in the workplace and how it can transform the way we work.

Prior to joining the Elms College faculty, Rockwal was Director of Human Resources at Health New England, where she oversaw HR Operations, Process Improvement and contributed to the strategic direction of Talent Management.

In addition, at the breakfast, the Chamber will recognize The O’Connell Companies on its new headquarters and the new CEO of the United Way of Pioneer Valley, Jim Ayres.
