SPRINGFIELD, Mass., March 19, 2019 – The Springfield Regional Chamber will hold its popular Beacon Hill Summit on April 24, 2019.

Sponsored by Baystate Health, Comcast, WWLP-TV22 and The CW, the day-long event is the largest regional business summit at the statehouse and provides an opportunity for business and community leaders to hear from key legislators and members of the Baker-Polito Administration and other top leaders, and voice their opinions, concerns and ideas during the day’s formal sessions and social events.

Senator James Welch, chair of the Joint Committee on Financial Services, and his colleague from the House side, Representative Carlos González, Vice Chair, Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Businesses, will co-host the event.

Speakers include Mary Lou Sudders, Secretary of Health and Human Services and Senator Jennifer Flanagan, commissioner on the Cannabis Commission. Rasky Partners will offer a presentation on how to effectively advocate for your position.

The day’s agenda will also include lunch at the UMass Club with members of the region’s delegation and a wrap-up cocktail reception at the 21st Amendment sponsored by Disability Management Services and Columbia Gas of Massachusetts.

Buses will depart from the Walmart Supercenter off exit 6 of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Chicopee at 7:00 a.m. with return by 7:00 p.m. The all-inclusive cost is $180 for members and $225 for general admission and includes transportation, continental breakfast, lunch, reception and all materials.
