Board of Directors

The Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber Board of Directors is responsible for the general strategies and policies of the Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber. The Board of Directors meets bimonthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. at Hampden Bank in Wilbraham.

Committees

The Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber and its membership is fully represented as an affiliate of the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Inc. Representation of its membership is included on the ACCGS Board of Directors, the ACCGS Legislative Steering Committee and ACCGS Membership Committee.

As well, to enhance the membership on a local level and ensure that local needs are met, the Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber has formed the following committees specific to Hampden and Wilbraham business issues.

Golf Committee

The Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber Golf Tournament Committee produces the the Chamber's annual Golf Tournament in October which benefits the Minnechaug Regional High School Entrepreneurial Program. Members recruit sponsors, foursomes and volunteer during the tournament in a variety of capacities.

Program Committee

The Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber Program Committee develops and produces events designed with Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber members in mind. Such events include the Small Business Morning Roundtable.

Scholarship Committee

The Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber Scholarship Committee reviews applications and awards scholarships to outstanding High School seniors on an annual basis. Applications are available in High School Guidance Offices. Town and Business Relations Committee

The Hampden/Wilbraham Chamber Town and Business Relations Committee works as an advocate for business on issues such as sewer, water and zoning, as well as an advocate for new business development and business retention.
